A Big Hello for Perth

Hi All

Sorry that I have been so slack with my blogging lately. I have been keeping myself very busy with wedding preparations and looking after my beautiful boy. Currently, we are all still living with my folks. We are vigorously trying to find somewhere to live. The house hunting is proving to be extremely time consuming.

Cohen is now 6 and a half months and started crawling about 3weeks ago. My gorgeous little boy is so active. I think he takes after his mum and dad. He is not happy with being able to crawl, he is too intent on walking. He spends all day long pulling himself up on any piece of furniture he can, even glass doors. He stands and walks along the edges then bouces up and down until he suddenly forgets to hold on and then crash! It is crazy. This week he is getting adventurous and is trying to climb although not quite possible yet. He now has two teeth on the bottom row. They are nearly all the way out now. He looks so cute. He loves to clap hands which he has mastered and is trying to wave but is not quite there yet. He is very close to saying a word though not sure what it will be. It amazes me how clever he is.

All in all, everyone is doing really well. Jayd is working very hard so we dont see him as much as we did in Perth - that is, he doesn't come home for lunches LOL. He absolutely loves his new job though so everything is great. We miss you all in Perth so much. We cant wait to come back for a holiday. I keep referring to Perth as home because to us it still is. I think it will take a little longer for us to feel this way about Melbourne. On the positive side of things though, Melbournes weather is not bad at all. I am wearing t'shirts and cant remember the last time I wore a jacket.

ITS BEEN TOO LONG

Hi Everyone

I must apologise for the delay in posting new pictures on our blog. As you all know it has been a crazy couple of months for the Kewming Family with the move to Melbourne and all. There is so much to report that I dont know where to begin. Most inportantly our beautiful little boy is 2weeks from turning 6months old. He is rolling around, nearly crawling and bouncing like tigger. He does not stop. He has so much energy, I dont know where he gets it from. But as always he is beautiful and happy as ever. I hope you all like the photos.

AUNTIE JULIES 50TH

Cohen went to his first party this weekend. It was his Auntie Julies 50th. We travelled all the way to Dunsborough for this. It was a great night and Cohen was a really good boy at the party. I cant believe how fast he is growing. Every week he looks so different and picks up new little tricks. He now holds his bottle, pulls hair and screeches when he has a tanty!! Not sure I like the tanty throwing but I'm loving him more and more every day.

Well, the answer to the first question is easy. The only job I enjoy doing is being a mum. This is by far the best job I've ever had. As for three others, I cant think of any. Truth is, I hate working. Its off to the beach and shopping for me. YAY!


I love my home. I spend allot of time with Jayd and Cohen here and it is definitely my sanctuary. I also spend time with Ronee here too. She is one of my favorite people and I love chatting and hanging out at home with her.
I love walking down to Scarborough Beach and along the coast.
I love wandering through the Subi markets.
I love hanging out having coffee and going record shopping with Jayd in Freo.


I love all food and I love to cook. My favorite foods would have to be-
My Mums curry and pan rolls.
Chicken and Rice - a dish I invented when I was pregnant. Its very hot and spicy. I guess its fair to say that I am a chili fiend. I love hot food. mmmmm
At the moment I am hooked on dark chocolate - although I cant eat it because of Cohen. I must admit I give myself chocolate rations every day.
Danish pastries, another healthy choice. Yummy!!!!!!


I have travelled through the UK, Spain, Italy, America-LA, Kuala Lumpar,Sri Lanka, Japan and Bali. My favorites -
Spain - I love it! The food, the people the lifestyle. Bring it on. Would live there in a flash.
Italy - The shopping and the food!!!
Japan - I didn't have enough time there but it is an awesome place and I would love to go again.
Sri Lanka - I will definitely go again and again. Its my island paradise and place of birth.
South America - never been but I know that I would love it.

3 MONTHS THIS WEEK

Cohen is 3months old this week. YAY - Hip hip hooray. I cant believe how fast he has grown. I must admit though it feels as if he has been with us forever. My life is so fulfilled now that I have my two beautiful boys. Anyway, happy birthday my beautiful boy. Mummy loves you to the moon and back, again and again.

COUSINS NIKS,ROSE AND DIRK

It has been a crazy few weeks here in Perth. This last week we have been lucky to have our wicked Cousins from Melbourne and Queensland, Nik, Rosy and Dirk. We all had a great time, especially Miss Nik who was a bit worse for wear on Sunday - self inflicted. Unfortunatelty I have no photos of Dirk but as you can see I have one of the girls before they went out Saturday night. If you right click on the picture you can download it. It was so great to see you all. We miss you.

GO THE TIGERS

These photos are of Cohens Uncle Andrew who came over from Melbourne to spend a week with his nephew. He has taken it on board to make Cohen a Richmond supporter. When Cohen was given his new scarf and beenie he cracked up laughing, he either likes the tigers or thinks they're a joke. Either way he seemed impressed, gotta love my bro for looking after Cohens footy interest.

OK. Holly took this photo and this is the first time I can really see my dad in Cohen. Everyone has been commenting on how he looks like my dad but I have not really been able to see it till now. What do you think Grandpa?

BEAUTIFUL SANSIA

Cohen's friend Sansia came to visit last week. She is 5 months old and absolutely beautiful. We are currently in negotiations for an arranged marriage although we are not quite sure if this is kosher in Australia. Anyway, we will keep working on it.

Yes, Cohens dad is crazy! If Jayd is not having a dance with his boy he is wearing his socks to keep him entertained. Jayd thinks he is the sock elf - how cute! My two beautiful boys, I love them both heaps.

WELCOME TO OUR BLOG

Hi Everyone

The first Kewming blog post. I cant believe I can actually do this. I have to thank my brilliant friend Holly for her help with this - thanks Hol!

This will be a brief entry as I am currently doing one handed typing as Master Cohen is asleep in the other - I cant explain how tricky this is.

Anyway, the plan is to keep this updated regularly with photos, gossip and any useful information I may come across. If I have no useful information to share with you all, you can rest assured that I will provide some of my riveting general crap for your attention.

Anyway I am hoping that you all will share your photos and general crap with me also.

I will post some more photos etc when Cohen gives my arm back.
